Alvin O’Neill, the Lead Pastor of Salt & Light, is a Minister within the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). 
Alvin is involved in ministry for over 14 years. As an Elder of Prayer/Pastor, his focus is leading the church in prayer/discipleship into a growing relationship with Christ. He also was director of the Hispanic UMADAOP YOUTH CENTER, where help at-risk for over 5 years he has seen many students go on to impact their world by their life example, ministry involvement, and their passion for God. He was successful in creating an environment for the church to connect with God and build healthy relationships with their peers and adult leaders.

Alvin and his wife Jennifer have been married for 20 years and have two sons, Alvin Jr, and Zech. 
Alvin and his family will be relocating from Cleveland, OH, where they’ve lived for the past 15 serving as an Elder/Pastor at Cooley Avenue Church of God. Now they are ready to embark on the next chapter of their ministry. They have felt God’s calling to the Lakeland area to start Salt and Light Church.
